Well put. So a few months back we jumped on board with Audiovore and they recorded/filmed a couple of songs from our soundcheck at the Hi-Dive. New songs to boot! Enjoy.
A few of us Snakes (Hayley, Doug and Andrew) have a little side band called Sweet Tooth Meat Tooth and we’re playing a fun show Thursday April 19th at the Hi-Dive with Land Lines and Ending People. Its one of a bunch of rad events curated by the MCA…should be a great night. Come on out!
A few months back we had the chance to play a handful of songs for Colorado Public Television’s Sounds on 29th. Everyone was great and we had a good time rocking out on a Sunday morning. Thanks again to everyone at CPT!

A while back we were lucky enough to participate in the First Annual Douglas Mancroc Warhammer Probably Presents Illegal Pete’s Band vs. Band Arm Slam! What was supposed to be an event to promote and raise money for the Illegal Pete’s Starving Artist Showcase at SXSW was really just an excuse to arm wrestle our friends, have drinks and have fun! Congratulations to Chris Heckman of The Epilogues who won the whole damn thing and a big thanks to Illegal Pete’s for hosting and Ben Simkins for filming and putting this sweet video together…set to the tune of “Break the Same”! Enjoy.

Woah, it has been a busy and fun couple of weeks! SXSW was great, lots of rad bands and amazing Denver people representing down in Austin. Highlights of which included the 12 hour BDG leg that Magicylops put in, Tamale House and Sam’s BBQ, Bad Weather California at The Side Bar and getting to play 3 sweet Colorado showcases. Good times.
This past weekend we got to hang with our Salt Lake City homies Night Sweats and Laserfang at Bar Deluxe. Don’t worry, we’ll get these guys out here soon and when that happens DO NOT miss them. UMS, are you listening?
Boise, oh Boise. Why do you treat us so awesome?! Whatever we have done to deserve such love and positivity, may we never stop doing it. Needless to say, the very first Treefort Music Fest was a great success in my estimation. We had a wonderful time, saw great bands, ate delicious food and we got to play too! And meet Doug Martsch. Thanks so much to everyone who came out the the Hi-Dive Saturday night and helped us sell the place out! We had a great time with Men in Burka, Mancub and AVCC, who all made it one sweet dance party!
Lots of new shows added in recent weeks and I gotta say, I’m pumped about all of them. We’ll be playing a few unofficial SXSW showcases in Austin March 16 & 17th, including Illegal Pete’s, Spokesbuzz and Reverb. More info on that soon!
We are also excited to announce that we’ll be heading back up to Boise to play the inaugural Treefort Music Festival! There are so many great local and national bands playing including Of Montreal, Built to Spill, Blitzen Trapper and Denver kids Pictureplane, Woodsman and so many more! Looks like we’ll be on the main stage Saturday March 24 at 4:30…come on out!
Don’t forget to come out to the Hi-Dive next Saturday February 11 where we’ll be playing with Mancub and Men in Burka, should be a great night!
