Indeed! Tomorrow marks the start of the Underground Music Showcase here in Denver and we couldn’t be more excited: bands, friends, sun and plenty of cocktails and revelry. We are lucky enough to be playing 3 shows this weekend so plenty of chances to catch us…cheers!
*THURSDAY 07/24 @ HI DIVE 11:00PM *FRIDAY 07/25 @ HI DIVE 10:00 PM *SUNDAY 07/27 @ THE 4TH ANNUAL CENTENNIAL DAY PARTY (1ST & ACOMA) 6:00PM (FREE!)
Our buddies over at OpenAir will be playing a new track off our upcoming album Totem today on Mile High Noon! Also, we’ll be DJing some sweet jams at the Lost Lake Sunday after our Bluebird show…pop in and say hello.
As we wrap up the new record Totem (out soon!) and finish the video for our first single Evil Eye, we are happy to announce a celebration show with our pals A. Tom Collins at the Bluebird Theater Sunday May 25th—yes, a Sunday, but with any luck you’ll have Monday off as its Memorial Day! Can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on the new album but in the meantime hear the songs live and loud on the 25th.
We’re throwing a short notice Valentine’s Day party at The Sidewinder with comedian and Denver native Ben Kronberg plus lots of goth music to sway to…bring a date or find one there!
As we wait patiently for our new album to be mixed (more on that soon!), we are happy to announce we will be sharing the stage with Rocket From The Crypt Saturday February 1st at Summit Music Hall here in Denver. Whoa. Be there.
Please come out Saturday December 21 and celebrate with us! It has been a busy year for us as we have been diligently working on our new record for most of 2013 and I am happy to say it is oh so close to being done! We can not wait to share it with you all soon (early 2014, fingers crossed!) but until then come hear some new songs and get weird with us, The Centennial and DJ Shannon Stein at the Hi-Dive!
Come on out to Hodi’s tonight…gonna be like old times with Land Lines and Wire Faces! Plus, its an 18 and up show!
Print out this discounted ticket and get into the BBQ for only $5.00!
Whoa. We did it! We made it through another UMS! What a great time…thanks to everybody who waited (successfully and unsuccessfully) to get into our show. So sweaty, so fun, so loud. That’s basically UMS in a nutshell.
In other exciting news, the lovely Westword readers voted us Best Rock-Indie band! Sweet! Thank you! Seeing all the bands nominated really brought it home how vibrant the music scene is in Denver right now…Colorado, we are lucky. Even MTV figured out we are cool.
